Because regular Zs are slow, I'm building a flying one.

I'm moving to Phoenix in a month and I'm using the opportunity to buy a sportier car for the sunny weather. Living in Michigan and Indiana hasn't really given me the luxury.

While I won't be in a hurry to buy a car, the prospect of being isolated in the city isn't all that appealing. The Z32's have recently caught my eye and I've been putting in a lot of effort searching for one within my price range. By happenstance this past week, I noticed a post by CaliguyPurdue who I went to school with. He's given me an hour's worth of advice with includes being wary '90's and '96's, and some things to look for when reviewing cars on a lot. He also recommended that I buy one from a member of tt.net, so in part, this post serves as an introduction should that become an opportunity.

Idealy I'm looking for a Z that won't kill me on frequent repairs, has a manual tranny, T-tops, and is NA so I don't have to worry about insurance on my stipend. I've also capped myself at spending no more than $8,000. With this in mind, I bring you to the point of the whole post. (I think I'd prefer a 2+2 over standard NA as well.)

I've collected every listing of Z32's for sale with 200 miles of Phoenix that I could find. Now granted, I won't even be there for another month, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to get an idea for what needs to be avoided. If anyone would mind glancing over the list and posting a couple comments, I'd greatly appreciate it. The five in orange are the ones I am giving the most consideration to. Also, am I crazy by being skeptical of NA's with 130k+ miles or rebuilt engines? And are these prices indicative of what I should expect to pay for the cars listed or will I do better by watching for a couple months?
